LOUISVILLE ASSOCIATION OF PARALEGALS
Please join the LAP for an Ethics CLE to be held at the Jefferson County Public Law Library. Our featured speaker is Peter L. Ostermiller, Esq.
Have you ever wondered what your responsibility is when you witness what you believe is unethical conduct by an attorney, judge or fellow paralegal? Have you ever wondered about the KBA disciplinary process and what actually happens behind the scenes when a bar complaint is filed? Do you understand the paralegal’s role in the process? What happens when a paralegal is accused of unauthorized practice of law? This is your chance to have these questions answered and an opportunity to ask an expert what you believe paralegals need to know about legal ethics and professional responsibility.
For over 25 years, Mr. Ostermiller has provided legal representation, counseling and expert opinions regarding legal ethics and professional responsibility matters. His practice has included the representation of lawyers, judges, law school applicants, suspended lawyers - and paralegals.
